Looking forward to at least some Top Band fun with my modest set-up. S&P initially, lots of noise outside from the gale. Band not too bad and signals from most of EU it seemed. Around 2230 the noise reduced dramatically, ah ha going to be better, not so, signals had dropped to almost zilch, peering through the window revealed that my 138ft long wire had become separated from the trees in the adjoining cemetery and was on the ground.  No chance to fix it in the dark and hail though, so goodnight to all or any of my readers. Some very impressive serials so the well equipped guys patently having fun.
