Re next years SSB AFS might I suggest  the following categories for awards:-

The "QRP" Award
-------------------------
to stations running up to 100W, because of conscience, cost, TVI, local Amateurs
or the fact that 300 plus stations are trying to get on in 150kHz of the band.

The "QRO" Award
--------------------------
to stations running the legal 400W, who have clean signals, a good receiving set 
up and have the time or money to invest in competitive contesting.

The "I don't give a Damm" Award
-------------------------------------------
to stations that need most of the National Grid to supply the linear, spread 
25kHz (not RX overload), can't hear who's calling them, and continue to work at 
least 2 stations after the contest has finished. This is maybe because they have 
spent so much money on their electricity bill that they can't afford a decent 
clock.
