Hi All,
Quite good fun this time. My first experience using a full windows-based
logging programme (finally nearing the point where the old DOS machines will
be consigned to the bin )
Conditions seemed as good as can be expected with the state of the sun, with
some good runs.
Writelog network stayed up all the contest, and worked flawlessly, as did
the 2m cluster link (that's another improvement planned when Broadband
finally makes it over the fields).
Only three operators this year - me, Marios (G0WWW/5B4WN) and Stavros
(M0BBB/5B4AFM). We might have been slightly less tired with four, but it
certainly kept us busy.
Interesting to see the good level of CW activity this year - overall our mix
is balanced, but it seemed that a good rate was available on both modes
throughout the contest.
Is it just my imagination, or is there a marked absence of the very wide,
over-modulated, objectionable signals in the IOTA Contest ? It seems
somewhat more gentlemanly a contest !
Anyway here's the stuff:
Raw score (I know there are a few minor things to fix in the log, but it
won't change very much):
