I still use WGV a lot, and I set the PC date to 1999 each time because it's not Y2K compliant! (Well the version I use isn't). It has a nice big comment field for 4m contesting QTH's, which is something I haven't seen in any other logger which I have tried. (Please don't bombard me with suggestions that have!). The author of WinTest has assured me that their next version will have this.

Auto-acquisition mode was added to G3WGV's LOG program at my suggestion
some time in 1990 or early 1991, judging by the date on the help file.
LOG was a contest logger and pre-dated Turbolog, but had similar look
and feel.
