[UK-CONTEST] Re the Stepp-IR

Hi all,

Not seen the Stepp-IR beam, but have heard great stories about it.

The Guernsey ARS has recently put up an Optibeam antenna, and I can truly
say that this is a superb bit of kit! It is solidly constructed, designed to
last, easy to assemble, in fact - everything you could want.
Not only that, but the SWR is pretty much flat across all 3 bands, due to
the design of the feedpoint. What you have is 3 seperate driven elements,
which is probably the reason for this, and there are no traps to worry
about!

Just my thoughts.............
