[UK-CONTEST] UBN/NIL Reports

Just in case anyone gets the wrong impression.
The exchanges in CQWW and ARRL aren't checked: the absence of serial
numbers makes them very nearly meaningless. The efforts of people like
N6TR and N6AA have turned around the checking of CQWW from the position
years ago where very little checking of even the callsign took place.
Even now in the days of computerisation they are assisted by a whole
army of volunteers around the world.
In a long (too long, I'm sure) association with the checking of RSGB
contests I can assure you that serial numbers are checked. They were in
the days of paper logs and still are now that, mercifully, almost all
our entries arrive as emails in Cabrillo format. Same goes for the Eu
sprints, which I have a hand in organising, and in fact most serial
number based contests.
I'll also echo Clive's comments that those percentages sound good to me.
