I don't usually rush to Chris's defence, but in this case . . . risking the
obvious, can you really say you've never been tempted on a clear motorway?
While contests may have been more or less gentlemanly affairs in the distant
past (e.g when it took a week to amass less than 100 QSOs in BERU), today
the emphasis seems to have moved on towards winning.
