Goodness, 161Qs? I only managed 126 with a struggle. Perhaps I need a higher
antenna. I was running near the lower end and it took a while to get going.
Last month I was up to 30 Qs within 12 minutes. This time it took twice as
long. Static and more QRM than usual made it slightly more difficult.
I actually used my real voice for most of the time instead of my famous
voice-keyer but for the first time I did record every QSO, utilising the
feature in the N1MM logger.
If anyone wants their recorded QSO .WAV emailed to them (why not!) let me
know.
Callum.

Hiya Guys
Lots of activity on Monday night, so surprising there are so few messages
here. It was great to hear so many stations active especially the newer
callsign allocations.
Propagation seemed good although GM stations were much weaker down here in
the South ( Surrey) than they were earlier in the year. Static levels were
high with me and I had to ask for lots of repeats.
There were, as ever some surprisingly huge signals on the band. Some quite
tiddly ones too. I worked one station who said (I think! ) that he was
running 40 milliwatts.. amazing
Anyway 161 Q's with a dipole at 65ft running 100W...not bad but nowhere near
as good as some.
Cheers Ian G3WVG
