[UK-CONTEST] Ofcom Update: Consultation on a proposal to reform amateur radio licensing

Can I urge everyone not to make a knee jerk response to this document.   
The closing date is not until 18th August which will allow everyone time 
to give a considered response.   The tone of the document is a lot more 
conciliatory than the orginal drafts which I had sight of and I like to 
think the meetings held between the RSGB and Ofcom have much to do with 
this.

The Society will be issuing some guidelines and suggestions during the 
next couple of weeks and members of this reflector may wish to wait and 
read these before committing fingers to keyboard.
