[UK-CONTEST] Have I missed a contest?

I've not received my Radcom for December yet - it takes a while to reach VK.
I might be showing my ignorance here - and not for the first time - but
surely someone proof-reads the text prior to committal to print....?

I too was dismayed by the December Radcom front cover. We only get 12 of
these a year, and this one was a complete waste.
I met the new Editor at the RSGB Reception at GB200T. He is a pleasant
chap, young, and acknowledges he has a lot to learn about ham radio. So
here is our opportunity. Subscribers to uk-contest are, on the whole, a
pretty active bunch and certainly more active than anyone at RSGB HQ who
holds a licence, now that G4JVG has departed.
What I suggest is that some of you consider writing letters/emails to
the Editor, telling him what you'd like to see on the front cover and
inside. Make it polite, don't dwell on the negatives like the naff
December cover but try to steer him towards a view of the hobby which is
more about contesting and the sort of good stuff we all like to see. My
favourite is lots of pictures of aluminum (sic) on the front cover, like
they do at CQ. I'm sure the Editor would appreciate constructive input
on the sort of presentation and content favoured by this particular
sub-group of active radio amateurs.
