Ian is quite right there was 17 stations with over 100 Qso's, but they were
all down South! I for my sins live in Scunthorpe which is 250miles North of
London. For an indication how bad it was, here are my results for SSB, CW
was similar.

I did a check on all the stations in those first contests looking at their
location on QRZ.com (yes I know I am a sado!) it was interesting to see how
the scores fell away the further you came North.
This series of contest have been a great sucess bring in many new hams, I
know that from my own club. The only rule I would change that is to bring
in the distance rule like in AFS. You have to live within a 50mile radius of
the club HQ. I noticed when I was checking calls on qrz.com that some
operators lived along way away sometimes 200miles!! With operators spread
about the country this gives their club an unfair advantage especially when
conditions are poor.
