Hello Graham,
You were the first station I caught after I lost my run frequency at 13
minutes past the hour. Emily (10 year old daughter) was shocked at your 34
to my 19 (she was most put out!)
Sitting on 3.701, at 20:03 (180 seconds after the start), I was already on
10 QSOs and I thought, "Woah, here we go - it's my night"! Then a sked in
Italy on 3.700.00 caught me off guard and I didn't have the headroom to go
up any more. Lee (MTN) took the frequency after me but ended up having music
played over him (and the Italians!).
I never really got another run, bar the last 10 minutes when I got a good
rate up again. Finished on 86, those that had the balls (luck?) to keep
their frequencies did a lot better than me!
At least N1MM allowed me to track where everyone was!
Grrr.
Callum
