Hi Adrian
I have a Kenpro KR-600RC here - it is an elderly but reasonable rotator for
e.g. a small tribander (I use it for a 6ele 50MHz yagi) but the controllers
are unreliable. I would not buy it unless you have done so already. Both
the KR-600 and the KR-400 can be turned by sufficient torque on the
stub-mast. The KR-400 is a poor rotator, with cork discs as the totally
useless 'brake' mechanism.
See http://www.qsl.net/gm3woj/rotators.htm for the circuit diagram and
some notes about the KR-600RC.
