 You can determine the level of activity for quite a few years on the HFCC
home page; worth a good look !

The winning number  of QSO's between 2001 - 2005 varies between 59 and 71
from memory. The Summer event is not always the one with the least support
in terms of QSO's!!

The number of entrants in that period is between 40 and 56. Strangely
enough, 2005 saw this highest number in the April event; and the lowest
number in the August event; over the period 2001 - 2005

So I would not have thought it was less popular now; unless only 30 logs
show up this time?!!

I would think the main reason for relatively low support is the time; end
of!

Might be interesting to ditch this contest; and use the Ropoco exchange in
the Club Championship?

Another suggestion. I felt this year that the Club Championship went on too
long.  Should we have fewer events ?
