How do you know? (does it show that much :-)

But nice to be included in someones GOOD POINTS :-)
Well I _like_ this contest. Even if I did only make 28 qsos. Why was
(nearly) everyone so deadly weak with me? There were a number who were
good signals so I don't quite understand it - I even emailed Lee (mtn)
to see if he'd put up a 3 ele beam for 80 on the quiet but no - it's
just a low suburban special like mine (but he has got an amplefire I
didn't know about :) , so why was he S9 when loads of other people were
a lot less. I'm going to have to go through the log and look you all
up on qrz just to see where the signals were (and were not) coming
from.
I find it ironic the number of people who rave about how nice the
exchange is over the usual tedious hf 'special' and yet whenever I
suggest an exchange of locators aka vhf it always seems to be
pooh-poohed - It would be so nice to just know where someone was! But I
have to agree - I do like the exchange in this one, although some of the
postcode formats did throw me - where on earth did the 9E one come from?
I wouldn't mind it if they published the sources of error - it would be
quite interesting to see - I may have generated one (only one? I'll be
lucky!) of them this time because the other guy was just so weak that
I couldn't face asking for another repeat. I was rather gratified that
in my first ropoco using my dads call (g8ycm) a couple of years ago to
have it reported that everything I sent was received correctly, you can
see the key I was using at
http://www.contesting.co.uk/hfcc/results/2004/2ropoco2004.shtml, I'm
glad it didn't specify if I received everything correctly!
I've no problem with the time for this one, 8am bst isn't that early
if only there were a few more people to work that I could hear! I like
the suggestion of a once a month ropoco with a cumulative total -
whether I'd be organised enough to enter remains to be seen - I don't
think I even remembered to send in Aprils entry!
So a very enjoyable contest even if few qsos.
