Adrian,
The RSGB contest rules allow for this
(a) A contact consists of an exchange with incrementing serial number
commencing from 001 and acknowledgement of receipt of callsign and contest
data. Incomplete contacts must be logged with zero points claimed. Points
are not lost if a non-competing station does not send appropriate
information, but a report must be logged and any other exchange sent by that
station must be recorded. The full contest exchange must be sent to all
stations worked.
In other words you can quite legitimately log an AA exchange. A log of the
AA guys are however quite savvy and will send you a serial number as well.
In a similar vein the AA guys will probably expect you to give him an
appropriate AA exchange so we always choose one members age prior to the
contest and use that so as not to confuse them .

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] SSB NFD ...Quick Question.
Quick Question regarding SSB NFD this weekend.
I am curious as to how to log stations who work me during SSB NFD, who are
in the All Asia contest, and don't give a FD Serial.
If I work JA9*** who sends 59 040 (the 40 being the ops age (his)) and I
send 59 041 (the 041 being my age in All Asia) and 59 123 (Field Day) do I
log the 59 040 or what ?
Just a thought.
Adrian (MW1LCR)
