[UK-CONTEST] FT1000Mp Mk V display

I had a similar problem and sent my one back to yaesu to check it. I was worried as it took around 20 
seconds to come on in the morning a few times. When it came back with no problems I phoned and spoke with 
the guy who checked it out and was asked what the room temp was where the radio was in as it might be the 
cause of the delay. So with some playing around I found that when my room was cold the radio took longer 
to come on but when the room was warm it would come on almost instantly

My MKV is now 4 yrs old and its been off for over 3 weeks room is 20c and when I switched on it was 
instant but if I switch on tomorrow morning once room temp drops it will be a few seconds before its on.

Maybe something worth checking in the morning when the room is cold then again when warm
