Yes that request is what I thought appropriate for our
club ( Ray, G3HRH and
I are both members of DeMontfort University ARS).

However, how do you distinguish our club (DeMontfort
University ARS, total
membership 29 members including 2 in USA and one in
Malaysia and 1 in
Scotland and the rest scattered about the UK) from
Chiltern (CDXC) with
hundreds of members and maybe the RSGB with thousands
of members).

One thing that AFS does not recognise is those
Societies which are not
geographically based and whose members are spread
around but who have a
common connection and interest.  How about abandoning
the 50-mile rule?
