Posting this to UK Contest and FOC Reflector, with a copy to G4BOH, as I
had discsussions with members of both groups. Apologies to those who
will receive it twice. G4BOH refers to 5th harmonic from 1440, it should
be 1404 and there is a French station now. So it wasn't my rx after all
but I am sure what I heard wasn't French!
By coincidence this one of the stations I have been recommended to
listen to as part of my French course, though I prefer listening around
7020 or even 7005!
I guess I will need to keep Main Rx on 1404 whilst maintaining a watch
on 40m CW on sub rx!! Les deux oiseaux avec une pierre, n'est-c pas?
I think it is useful to send these reports to Chris Cummings. He
responded quickly with good information.
