Made 318 good QSO's - rates have 2 dupes.

rates were : 151 - 84 - 61 -24

Comparing with Don's rates; maybe having a choice of antennae helped at the
end ??

Had no real drama's ; breakages etc.

Antenna - dipole at 40'; FT1000MP; ETO 91B amp

Operated mainly on 3707. Had QRM from the start; but think I got the better
of it. Glad I bought narrow SSB filters in the last year; screwed down the
IF width also. No point being personal; if it wasn't the one person that
moved in from the start; then it would always have been someone else! Just
that the S meter never dropped below s9! Also , to the LF, I had QRM from
carriers. I wondered if someone runs an AM net down there one would go off,
and another would come on !!

The band breaking at the end was typical high angle absorption stuff; I
think a lot of people gave up at this point? I found a reasonable spot then
on 3747, for a short while.

If it becomes difficult to operate even on full power when we have high
angle absorption; I think this fully vindicates the Committee decision to
remove the January club championship event, which had suffered the same
fate; as a small aside comment
