120 - 96 - 51 - 49 = 316. (No too bad for this part of the Principality :-)
)
Usually try and find a reasonably clear frequency in the top-half of the
band to start, but with everything taken up decided to opt lower for a
change and was surprised to find 3600-3605 clear so ran there (bar an
occasional 2nd VFO S & P) until around 16:45; at which point I happened
across 3749 on the 2nd VFO, the frequency was clear so dropped there for a
while before moving LF to around 3705 to finish off.
Highlights - surprising number of GMs worked (even from the very start);
being called by a FY5 (!) well, OK, he was F/FY5 but it confused me for a
minute; being called by M1NTO - who said he was only calling Welsh stations
(!)
Lowlight - the deliberate QRM when working higher in the band, fortunately I
don't appear to have been singled out for this as others were heard to be
similarly effected.
