As I'm still QRT (despite best efforts last week, but not for much longer)
and ergo not on tonight I'll whinge while the list is quiet.
It's arguable that the summer start disadvantages those far from the more
densely populated parts of the UK; on the other hand, starting at that sort
of time in the winter leaves those of us in more densely populated places,
like Central London, having a large chunk of available QSOs lost due to a
long skip zone.
There's no such thing as a level playing field in amateur radio contesting,
with the arguable exception of WRTC, but averaged over the 6 months the
Clubs Contest does a reasonable job.
