Personally I welcome the re-introduction of the /A, this announced an ALTRNATIVE QTH. although it shouldn't need to be reported to the authorities, the previous requirements were fine
With the deletion of the /A it seemed at least odd to have to sign /P for portable. I think /P should  be used for those strictly PORTABLE.
Those nations who employ changed prixes for different areas e.g Canada and the US can amend their call with a /* i.e. N3ZD/7 if I operate from an alternate address in Oregon, so why cannot we use /A
    Also I think that the amended prefix for foreign amateurs operating in the UK should be G*, not M.
