Just one other minor point I meant to mention in my first e-mail.    Up here 
in Scotland we are in the land of the midnight sun.    It might well have 
been the case when it was dark in your part of the world we still had full 
daylight and so we didnt get propagation till about 1 hour after you guys in 
the south.   So if you called us at the start of your propagation, yes we 
were struggling to read you both due to prop and band noise.   During the 
Sunday morning we could hear Steve GW0GEI working stations on 160 we could 
not hear - so ground wave is perhaps a consideration also.

Perhaps Peter would like to volunteer to do the 160 SB station next year?
