Hi Nick

Still not sure I have won but I'm so pleased the HFCC put those results out,
that I'm booking the Convention on the strength of it! Thanks to the
committee for listening to us and fair dooze to Tom GM4FDM who adjudicated
it much quicker than I had first thought.

About the 2005 RSGB HF Contest Championship - Don G3BJ had some better
results than me in a number of contests but I think toughing it out in the
lousy condx of the 21/28 CW and SSB contest has paid off for me. The last
time I tackled the championship seriously was in 1989 before computers had
made any significant impact in the hobby. I won it that year and thinking
back after last weekend at GB5HQ after being so dependent on Starlog (TNX
G3WGV), it made me realise how much contesting has changed since the 1980s.

73 Phil G4OBK
