Its been said before but on HF generally there is simply more activity in
DL than in the UK (for example take a look at QSO stats for Western Sahara
DXpedition (www.s01r.com)
- UK is 10th (about 1,000 Qs) and DL is 2nd with about 3,500 Qs.

For contest activity take a look at the CQWW results each year and compare
the number of German stations to UK ones.

This is a fact of life (not defeatism) - and when (not if) GB5HQ come out
on top of the pile the achievement will be even more noteworthy.

Also like the suggestion from Daniel M0ERA regarding Olympic Games 2012.
