Good idea Nigel but also think about how everyone else can participate  too.
 
So we have the special 2O12 prefix for a series of Olympic stations  
presumably located in or near the actual Olympic venues and then some other  special 
prefix for everyone else (G or M2012 for England, GW/MW2012 etc) so it  spreads 
the fun around as the GE and GQ did. Eg The Watersports is possibly  going to 
be at Nottingham so G3SJJ runs 2O12N etc. But has he got a good enough  
station to run 10m?

This prefix could  be used for a series of special stations, although 
probably not on an  individual station basis because like with the GE's 
(1977) and the GQ's  (2002), there is the inevitable problem/muddle with 
losing the DXCC  identifier from the prefix.
