          Soapbox :
First time in the restricted section and it is so much easier to set
up, we were ready 90 minutes before the start so i ran a 30 odd QSOs
using the doublet in the UKSMG contest - all CW as we didn't take a mic.
Hot and sunny, with good openings on 10m, especially on Saturday. It was
a real struggle with only two operators, one who does not do computers
(G3JKY - qrv 8 hours overnight) and one who does computers but not HF
(me- 14 hours). We had a couple hours off as we needed to eat the
traditional Clifton fish and chips on Saturday and G0DCG's pasta
surprise on Sunday. The lack of integration of paper and PC meant we
didn't hit 80M at all and probably spent too long on 10m considering the
rate achieved. Anyone know how to do a quick cabrillo to dupe sheet
conversion? If so i will take a printer next year for Jakey. I am told
that the Clifton has entered every NFD and VHF FD since inception, so it
is nice to keep up tradition even if we are only ever going to prop up
the table. See you all next month in VHF FD. Has someone ordered the SpE?
