Hi all,

Just a few thoughts about the contest last night..............

It would seem that PSK is a waste of effort in this section, so I would ask
that it be dropped next year, and let's use the extra space for more RTTY
signals.

Too many folk appeared to have NET and AFC set ON. I noted this mostly when
responding to a TU NOW QRZ type of call, where I would then call the
station, only to hear them respond way off frequency.

After the "discussion" about the CW leg, there was a lot of GU0SUP GU0SUP GE
TU UR 599 001 001 DE G3ABC G3ABC TU AR SK style of calls. Too much
information!

PLEASE consider sending that serial number THREE times! I had many episodes
of TU 599 001 012 K and had to either ask for a repeat, or perhaps watch the
next QSO and see if I got the number right.

I also had one station who called me, then didn't respond to my report! I
called CQ again, and yet again he called. No response to my report, so QRZ?
and yet again he called.

In the end, I managed 56 good QSO's, with 2 dupes. Not sure why M5AHQ and
G4ARI called me again, but I presume they somehow missed my report. No real
problem.
I spent a while at the start CQ'ing, but ended up having to move due to very
strong MFSK signals, plus French SSB down below 3.600.
