Hi Steve, all,

If someone can present some good reasons *why* they believe the contest will 
be a success if re-instated, then I'm sure they will be listened to - 
although I can't promise an actual re-instatement (!)  Just saying 'bring it 
back' probably won't have much sway.

The reasons to discontinue the contest, discussed at HFCC and presented 
publicly at an HFC Contest Forum, seemed pretty clear at the time.

In your proposal please consider the history of this contest regards the 
number of entrants both UK and DX, the average rates for both UK and DX, 
current trends for popular UK contest duration, finding a clear weekend to 
run it in etc. (UBA CW swamped this one out originally.)
