Well I was in neither the 12 or 24 hour category this year. Having had a Q 
in the first minute I soon went about other things for well over an hour. I 
took 4 hours during the night and also the last 2 hours. I would have 
carried on but for the complete lack of anything to work having seen the MUF 
go below 40m and then towards VE also go a bit thin.
    The final result being only 232Qs and 170 Bonus for 4555 points, I was 
pleased again with my bonus level on 80 (35) and also 40m (65) but at this 
part of the sunspot cycle I was always going to have problems with 15m (16)
    As to general activity I was fortunate enough to be QRV on 40m a few 
days before BERU starting at about 07Z SSB and in the next hour and a half I 
worked 17 ZLs and 37 VKs including a new novice VK1FRST. So I think this is 
where the new BERU activity is hovering.
Equipment used FT1000D plus amp Optibeam @ 30ft!! 4SQ, Verticals and 
numerous wires.
