I did a bit of cross-checking of previous years on G3PJT's website. The
2005 entry was the largest since 1947 (!) so can we please put this one to
rest. Of course this year's entry will be lower but that's propagation for
you. There may be a preponderance of G3s with sideswipers but is that
really so different from AFS?
By the way, I was amazed to find that VK2BAA was running QRP - great job,
you were a good 569 here but didn't hear me CQing apparently. :-(((

Just responding to the punters, guv'nor. I was just pointing out that
politics ought to be irrelevant to what is a great operating event. Then I
went off on one as I am wont to do.
