Regarding N1MM in ESM mode
Would any of the following keystrokes help when you don't want to use the
mouse?
Pressing any of the F keys will send only that particular message
ALT-ENTER will log a Q without sending any message - same as Log It Now
mouse click
CONT-ALT-ENTER will force a Q to be logged even if the call or exchange is
not recognised

Conditions were great last night and I clocked up my highest total in the CW
CC. Worked everyone I could here but I need to see what I can do about local
electrical noise. Is it worth trying an external noise cancelling device as
the DSP on the MP and the IC7400 make little difference. Tried starting at
the bottom of the band and tuning up but was being beaten everytime by other
stations, moved to the top of the band to come down, same thing!
Eventually spun the dial and started in the middle of the band where things
were quieter! Tried a spot of running for a short period with little
success and apologies to F5VHY, I could not get the H and the Y in the call
the right way round no matter what I did!
46 Qs using MP and microKEYER , 40w to a low loaded dipole running N-S and
N1MM in WPX mode
Again a most enjoyable evening contest.
