"An interesting and humbling experience. Useful to see
things from the
other side for a change.

Chris G3SJJ"

I'll certainly second that Chris, as this contest
particularly with its 100w limit makes me realise just
how I sound at your end. Interesting too that many of
the usual top dogs are by no means the strongest
signals, but then again I suspect they use different
ant configurations, lower dipoles. Having said that
though they all have great ears and get my c/s first
take unless the qrg is bad with qrm. Just one or two
that haven't read the power rules so no major problem,
maybe I will just add pwr? after the exchange in
future to remind them. There are some too who could
take a look at their rx capabilities because several
calls to them this time and last month too didn't even
raise a ?.

Sigs last night were really good at kick off I was hrg
lots of little pistols not heard before however I
can't manage to work many because the first hour is
quite frenetic and I have to stand in quite a long
line before I can get through. Unfortunately after 30
minutes cndx went down hill and didn't pick up again
until 5 minutes before time. Only 22 q's compared to
25 last month when band not so good but did enable me
to work stns throughout.

Quite a loT of c/s active that I didn't hear in beru -
dammit! Would like to have got 2e0kop but she was
s & p'ing at the time.

How can there be any doubt that 21.29.59 is deadline,
21.30 starts the 91st minute.

See you next month.

73 Brian 5B/G4ODV.
