This is off the N1MM Reflector posted by N1MM himself. It really works, 
we (GU4CHY, G4AXX and myself) used it here at G8D in last year's CQWW 
CW. The key is the Available Mults window which is better than Writelog. 
Not sure how Wintest and SD handles this kind of thing. Try it in this

"In any big contest there are a lot of spots.  Here is how to get your 
share -- i.e. a high rate working just spots.

Pick a band with a lot of spots, by looking at the number of mults and 
Qs shown in the Available window.

Using Alt-Ctl-up/down, jump through the mults available on that band.  
Don't focus on the bandmap, focus on your ears.  Is it a huge pile?  If 
so, judge your ability to crack it and move on if necessary.  Except at 
the very beginning/end of a contest, you should be able to work a lot of 
mults without waiting, unless you already worked them.

Now the important part.  Don't wait for a station.  There are lots 
available. You want the quickest.  Listen -- is he ready to work you?  
Make a judgment as to how fast you can work him.  This should take just 
a second.  If it's not going to be quick, go to the next one.  Loop 
through the mults until you determine that it will take too long to work 
another one.

Now go through the Qs doing the same thing. You will stop at each mult 
along the way, so you will get a chance to work them again.

This is NOT dxing!  You don't want to work the best stations, just any 
station. Rate is king. As you jump through the stations RAPIDLY, you 
will eventually find a station saying QRZ?  You have a guess at his 
call, from the spot. Just make him tell you his call before you log 
him...  "Are you RU1A?" usually works fine.

When you have looped through a few times and you keep landing on a 
station, and the station is not there, that can become your new run 
frequency.  Check to see if it is in use. If not in use, use Alt-D to 
delete the spot and press F1 to tell the program that you are now running."
