[UK-CONTEST] QSO times CC

But Chris, as you say yourself, the contest time is not defined in
seconds but in minutes. So if the contest finishes at 2130, that means
that when the big hand hits 2130 the contest is .... finished ....
It's not a 91 minute contest, or a 90 minute 59 second contest, it's a
90 minute contest.
Of course, I'm not so naïve as to believe that folk won't complete a QSO
and then "adjust" the log afterwards, and because PC clocks are
notoriously inaccurate the adjudicators will give the benefit of the
doubt.
But, frankly, after a season of contests, with (hopefully) lots of
entries from each club, will it make a ha'porth of difference to the
final placings? I very much doubt it.

There has been lots of discussion but no definite answer as to whether
2130 is in or out of time.
As long as we all play to the same final whistle what do's it matter.
My thought on the matter is, for what its worth, is that the contest
ends at 2130 and 2130 ends
as 2131 begins, now if we logged to the second that would be a different
matter, 2130:00 would
be in 2130:01 would not.
The simple answer is for a member of the contest committe to say if 2130
is acceptable or not.

Chris, M0AJT.
