Brian,

Funny you should mention this as just a minute ago i was playing around with my ADIF file to see if I could get an END TIME result.

The problem is with the software which produced the ADIF file, it does not put into the ADIF file an end time. I use WriteLog and it doesn't do it either. I discovered that the "<TIME_OFF:6>110205" inserted after the TIME_ON command works. In my case I was off at 11:02 and 5 sec.

  I too use Winlog32.

How to edit and automatically enter the "<TIME_OFF:6>110205" command I don't know. I have limited experience in programming in VB but could make a little program which simply inserts the "<TIME_OFF:6>110205" command and would have to make it the same as TIME_ON, which is reasonable if you are in a contest.

Here an extract from BARTG contest, I put the TIME_OFF in:

  <QSO_DATE:8>20060319 <TIME_ON:6>110105 <TIME_OFF:6>110205 <FREQ:6>14.081 <BAND:3>20m <STX:1>1 <MODE:4>RTTY
    <CALL:4>YL9T
    <RST_SENT:3>599
    <RST_RCVD:3>599
    <SRX:3>721
    <TIME:4>1101
    <M:1>1
    <A20:1>1
    <COUNTRY:6>Latvia
    <PREF:2>YL

  What do you think?

  All the best,

  Berni
