Yes you are right Peter. My original licence (or the version issued 
in 1977 when they changed the terms of all licences) reads:

(c) Call signs of the stations from which messages addressed to the 
station are received or to which messages are sent, times of 
establishing and ending communications with such station, frequency 
bands(s) and class or classes of emission in each case (including the 
tests referred to in clause 4(2) above; and CQ calls).

Perhaps we are glad that BR68 supercedes these conditions, especially 
when you note that every single CQ call also has to be logged!
