I don't think you can rely on getting a 'delivery receipt' response 
at all. Many of us have deliberately turned off this option in our 
email programs. In dial up days it was a decided nuisance as it only 
sent it when you were next on line. In this day and age it probably 
plays into the spammers hands if they decide to use the option, just 
like 'out of office' responses do. Most of the members of HFCC are 
volunteers using home computers and I suspect most do not enable the 
option in their software.
