Yes, it was ZE...... but not everyone twigged that rare Post-Code first time round in last night's RSGB 160m contest!

GM3TXF/p was QRV from the Eshaness Lightness in Shetland, using 100w and a low dipole up at about 20ft feet and coming down to ground level at both ends. (OK, yes, it's also near a 150ft high cliff right by the ocean!).

Quite a struggle to make myself heard "down south" during the first couple of hours, but it got easier towards the end. 

This short (one day) Shetland trip was primarily a recce and an equipment delivery exercise for Ian G3WVG's MZ5A SOAB operation from the same location next weekend. 

104Qs were made from the Last Post-code.
