[UK-CONTEST] : feeding beverages over long distances

Might be worth noting that wires close to a beverage only really have an effect if they are at right angles to it. My beverages run above fence wires, and perform perfectly well as far as I'm concerned - I realise that there are those who would say that this is not ideal, but the proof of the pudding is in a great f/b ratio so I'm happy.
The SE one also comes quite close to an electric fence. This causes a slight crash every 2 or 3 seconds, but I can live with it. You can switch off the fence when you're operating if you have horses (but I don't know about cows). Horses usually learn what the fence is for quite quickly, and are brave if they go back and try it again! Some sometimes try it, but it will take them all day to do it! Keeps them occupied.
My bevs are 520ft at 7ft agl on 8ft garden canes sloping for the last 40ft or so at each end to transformer/resistor. Couldn't be simpler.

Thanks for the advice. I have a good stock of RG58 & a roll of double
screened 75 ohm cable which I'll run out to the wire when it stops raining.
The only other worrying factor is the distance from the beverage wires to
the farmers electric fence. I am hoping it's not going to render the system
useless by upsetting directivity or wrecking the s/n but I won't know until
I try it. Luckily the field is only in use during the summer months where it
is rented out for grazing. In the last year I discovered that the cows love
knocking down antenna supports but stay well away from wire.
