G'day,

| We spent some of the spare time reading a bunch of old Short Wave 
Magazines
| from the 1970s - amazing how many current callsigns (including VP8NO) 
that
| we found there.

And I'm younger than SJJ.

I picked up 'NO when passing through Stanley for Antarctica in December 
'73.

SSBFD sounded fun, rather like our VP8LGT activity in the International 
Lighthouse and Lightships weekends, always foul weather and we always say 
"never again", however, masochism rules every year.
