But bear in mind that the NATO phonetics are almost always used in
conditions of absolutely Q5 copy (at least in civil aviation anyway). I
try and stick with the official ones but whenever I use Golf Mike eight
Oscar Echo Golf the response always comes back as 'gm8 Oscar Hotel
Golf'.
