On a lighter note, I vaguely remember a spoof phonetic alphabet which Len
Hardy GM2FHH used to be able to quote from A to Z.
The only two I remember were "L for leather" and "F for effervescence" (!) I
think it originated in the services during WW2. I wonder if anyone else
knows it?
