[UK-CONTEST] K2 Question

Directed at K2 users, so apologies to non-users. I ought to be on the 
Elecraft Reflector I know, but I just don't want the additional e-mails!

Basic K2 now up and running. 160-10 CW/SSB, 10w. (Currently building the 
100w PA.)

SSB QSOs indicate light modulation using a Yaesu fist mic. When I plug 
the Heil Proset in it is even lighter. I have seen references to a Heil 
mic specially for the K2, but since I am proposing to use it for SO2R I 
would want to use the Proset for this and my Ft1kMP.

Any thoughts?  Chris G3SJJ
