Hi all,
I have a few concerns about one of the proposals in the new BR-68, where it
says we no longer need to keep a log.
Personally, I will indeed keep a log, as I believe this to be an essential
part of our hobby.
Firstly, if nobody bothered to keep one, then what would happen if there
were complaints about interference?
Currently, we can check the log, and prove that were on, or not, as the case
may be.
This may help in tracking down a potential problem.
Without a log, where would we stand from a legal point of view, if action
was taken against us?
Secondly, has anyone thought about the impact it may have on SWL's who send
us cards?
With no log to go by, how are we to validate an SWL card?
Maybe I have just read it all wrong??
