If you want to improve balance on the open-wire line, use four wires 
arranged in a square and connect diagonal pairs together. That way, the 
effect of nearby objects tends to cancel out. But I wouldn't fancy 
making 300m of the stuff.

The other issue is that with a yagi that far away, you will either have 
to build a repeater for the rotator, or arrange to 'turn up the wick' on 
the motor voltage coming out of the control box.
