[UK-CONTEST] It's a conspiracy

OK thanks everybody. Well the new Router is installed but not the BT
Yahoo stuff. Both computers access the internet via the Router now
instead of one acting as a gateway. So far so good. It reckons speed is
currently downstream 7.6 Mbs, earlier it was 8066Mbs, and upstream 448Kbs

As has been mentioned, wireless networking is not as good so I have put
the ethernet cable back in and that is solid. Main thing now is to get
actual networking
between the two computers to work again as I use the printer on the
other computer.

Dave YMC hit a chord. The dropping out in the evenings seem to coincided
with an intermediate upgrade from 2Mbs which worked solidly to 6MBs. Be
interesting to see if it drops our again this evening around 2130.

However, once these issues are resolved,it is a perfectly stable connection, as far as I have seen, is immune to RF and doesn't emit discernable RF. (At least I havn't heard / noticed).
