[UK-CONTEST] WRTC Russia

Hello Chaps,
UK had no competitors at WRTC 2006 in Brazil, very disappointing. We were rather trumped by Balkan contesters. But for WRTC 2010 in Russia the area definitions have changed: our area covers basically only CT, EA, F, EI, U.K., I from where the highest FOUR contenders will win Team-Leader places.

You've seen the new rules, listing the contests which will qualify (or ask me for a copy): count your best scores from eight out of 28 specified contests. All categories are catered for, except QRP and single-band. It will need a very big effort during three years to qualify but let's hope that some UK contesters will do so. The qualification criteria are not too complicated for the world's top 50 contesters.

There is a new WRTC-2010 reflector but they seem a little slow so far with a proper web-site. An unofficial web-site shows the Selection Criteria:
