[UK-CONTEST] GPRS Packet Network Connection

HI

My old nokia phone has been chewed by my new puppy!

As well as me £280 pair of specs....but wont go into that. 

So now is the time to buy a new mobile phone, I was wondering if anyone else has taken the route of getting GPRS working for cluster info at all, when out /P?

I know one of the DMU gang has done this very succesfully...what phones/data cables are you using....I guess all I really need is a new pay-as-you-go with GPRS capability, but you know what these phone shops are like....want to sell you the latest gizzmo's    ...
